A New Virus Threat to Mankind: G4 Virus Found In China

The new strain of virus that was found in china which is mutated form of 2009 H1N1 swine flu virus. It is particularly found in pigs of farmyards. It is rapidly spreading among the pigs and also infects humans if contacted. This clearly states that it’s a zoonotic virus like covid19.Scientists who have studied the new strain of the virus have warned authorities that if this virus is not handled properly then it could possibly lead to another human pandemic.

*  zoonotic virus – a virus that spreads from animals to humans

As there is huge consumption of pigs in china, in every cuisine they eat in some way or the other has pork in it. So due to this there is a very high demand of pork. In order to fulfil this demand a very large industry of pig farming is currently operating in china, which is poorly maintained and is currently highly contaminated with G4 virus. This virus has infected many workers of the farm. They have shown symptoms like cough, fever, body pain.

When asked about the situation of virus spread China officially told that, it is trying its level best to contain the virus. But the reports suggest that farm workers are already infected. About 10% of the workers are infected, which means lakhs of peoples if China’s population is considered.

Scientists and health experts are concerned because in 2009 H1N1 swine flu infected almost 11%-21% of human population. About 5 lakh people died of it as estimated by centre for disease control (CDC) USA. Then after that W.H.O declared it as pandemic. But thankfully then we had vaccine of Swine flu H1N1 so the spread of the disease was controlled. But this swine flu vaccine seems to be not working on the G4 virus.

The original name of the G4 virus is G4 EA H1N1 flu virus. This virus can infect and reproduce in cells on lower lining of the respiratory tract. Tests have shown that any immunity gained from seasonal flu is not providing any protection against G4 virus.

Currently China after monitoring it is saying that this virus is only spreading from pigs to humans. Scientists said in their report that, this virus could rapidly mutate and can start transmission from human to human. It has a high chance of becoming a potential pandemic, scientists say as they have been studying the virus for 7 years. The research was done by scientists from China and USA on pigs from 2011 – 2018 in China. Tests were done, lung tissues were collected from farmed pigs that exhibited respiratory diseases and studied different strains of virus.

Then they published their report on website of proceedings of national academy of sciences (PNAS) of US. In this report they said that, they found the strain of G4 virus as a descendant of H1N1 swine flu virus.

It is seen many times that these zoonotic type of virus originate in China as they just don’t spare a single species  to eat. The wet markets are as always a place from where the spread could take place. Many viruses and diseases over decades like Sars coronavirus in 2003, H1N1 Swine flu 2009 and now Covid19 in 2019.

New update for pubg mobile : New map in classic mode

It’s a great news for hardcore pubg mobile fans that there is a new map upcoming for pubg mobile . it would be the first map in pubg franchise which would be firstly arriving on mobile versions firstly not on console and pc versions. Tencent has started its trial on beta version of the pubg mobile . this new map is long awaited map as for a long time pubg mobile hasn’t provided with new maps in classic mode . this new map is rumoured to be arriving on the game in next season.
This new map in beta version is caaled “secret map”. This map was teased by the official handle of pubg on its twitter handle with a jigsaw puzzle of four pieces of a map. This map was first explored by a youtuber powerbang gaming on his channel . He said that this new map is about 2×2 km in size and it is bigger than Sanhok and smaller than Erangel map that we already know. This new map is said to be mix of both Erangel and Vikendi . its terrain seems to be blend of terrain of Erangel and Miramar map , because it is green like Erangel, but the rocks and boulders are like Miramar map as there are too many boulders and uneven terrain so it is difficult to any high speed car pursuit between the cars for the kills.

Pubg has done quite a large amount of work on topographical and redesigning of animation of building structures.as the green areas have bushes and grasses that are dark green or algael in colour and the buildings are to differently designed . this map is about 80% of green part while rest 20% is the snowy part which is present at the top part of the map.
This map as known vehicles of Erangel like Bike, UAZ, Buggy, but the star of this map that takes away all the eyeballs is the “monster truck “which is ideal for this map. for it nothing is too big to overcome it can seamlessly drive over all boulders and rocks without a drop of sweat.  Though it is rarely found on the map but if luck hits at the right place then it is the time for a joyride on the mighty monster truck. There is also a new SMG P90 available on the map which uses 9mm bullets having 50 bullets in a cartridge. A new Shotgun spas–12 is added which uses 12 gauge shells, and a feature in it is this gun is self-silenced at least in beta versions.
Also there a new feature in it is that when you knock and kill a enemy then the internal audio says “enemy down” and when you spot a enemy in the crosshairs of the gun it says “enemy spotted”. There are also some new types of crates available which are golden and dark grey in colour which provides you with a fully kitted gun and some armours and helmets.
The another new intriguing feature of the map is that it has waterfalls and there some motion physics involved in it, i.e, the water is moving and if you jump in it would take you in the direction of the flow of the water. This new map promises a ton of loot for everyone at till now in beta mode.
Thank you soo you guys for reaching this blog page of mine, I really appreciate i . hope you will visit again to know about some new stuff.

Dharavi : India’s largest slum

So now lets dive deep into the history of Dharavi , its known that it is one of the oldest slums in the South east Asia . During the British colonial era the area was inhabited by the Koli fishermen .The slum was established in 1882 during the British colonial era and grew due to expulsion by the colonial government of factories and residents of downtown of Mumbai, due to migration of poor Indian labours into the urban Mumbai .For this reason Dharavi is one of the the highly diverse settlements both religiously an ethnically also . It is estimated to have a population of of 869565 people square mile . with a literacy rate of 67% Dharavi is the india’s most literate slum .

Being the largest slum in south east asia , its already difficult for dharavites to cope with the stress of daily life of managing the enough amount of resources to survive in the economic capital of india . Dharavi generally has a composition of people that is totally diverse in nature, like that of India . People from different parts of the country come to Mumbai to try their luck in becoming a part of this big economic machine of India (Mumbai). The suitors who are looking for a better economic prospect come lured towards the city of Mumbai with a lots of dreams in the city of dreams .Lured by the enigma of the riches, they hunt for the ladder to alleviate them from their current economic and career status and many come here for career aspects also looking to get a boost in their life . They come in this whole new environment that they experience have both culture shock and language barrier just waiting at the entry gates of Mumbai . Its takes awhile for person to settle in such a ecosystem he never anticipated of , its goes on to takes experiences through the struggle he faces on the road which he saw as a not so hostile environment but his perception changes soon as he comes in touch with the hostile nature of the city , that’s full of competition and a neck to neck race between the peers to achieve something better than yesterday . Thus they find it very difficult to manage an accommodation that is, and the ones available are to pricy to afford , thus the slums are created in such cases .and in Mumbai this slum is called dharavi , though there are other slum settlements but dharavi stands out of them by a big margin . It has a whooping population of 1000000 living in just 2.1 km/sq of area in the heart of the city. These people constitute of people who can’t manage to live elsewere in the economic capital .
